What we collect

When you sign in to VODey, we collect basic profile information from your chosen sign-in provider (Twitch, Google, or Patreon):

• Display name
• Email address
• Profile picture URL
• Your platform user ID (for following your channels/subscriptions)
• OAuth tokens, used solely to fetch your follow list and your patron status

How we use it

We use your data to:

• Sign you in and identify you across sessions
• Sync your followed streamers and subscribed YouTube channels
• Verify your Patreon patron status to grant Premium access
• Display your VODs and playlists in the app

What we don't do

We never post on your behalf to Twitch, YouTube, Google, or Patreon. We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your data for advertising.

Data storage

Your data is stored on encrypted database servers (Neon PostgreSQL) and a CDN for cover images (Cloudflare R2). Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We will permanently remove your profile, playlists, and any uploaded content.
